Job Title: Structural Engineer | Location: Wuxi, Jiangsu, China | Salary: 13K - 20K RMB / Month

Job Title: Structural Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Structural Design & Engineering: Responsible for the structural design of 2/3-wheel electric vehicles (including frame, handlebars, seat, storage components, etc.) and core parts. Output design drawings and BOM lists. Optimize structural solutions based on user needs and market trends to enhance product stability and lightweight design.
2. Simulation Analysis & Testing: Lead simulation analyses such as structural strength, vibration, and durability. Formulate testing plans, track verification processes, collect test data, and iteratively optimize designs. Quickly pinpoint root causes and provide solutions for mass-production issues like abnormal structural noise and fractures.
3. Supplier & Cost Management: Collaborate with the supply chain to screen and align technically with structural component suppliers. Participate in sample reviews and mass-production process confirmation to control structural component costs under design standards, driving process execution and production efficiency.
4. Documentation & Cross-Functional Alignment: Organize structural design standards and technical documentation. Align seamlessly with R&D, manufacturing, and cross-departmental teams to ensure accurate design handoffs and support the full product R&D lifecycle.

Job Requirements:

1. Soft Skills: Strong cross-departmental communication and coordination skills. High stress tolerance, adaptable to fast-paced project cycles, with strong team collaboration consciousness.
2. Education & Academic Background: Major in Mechanical Design, Vehicle Engineering, or related disciplines. College degree or above with a solid foundation in mechanical structure theory.
3. Industry Experience: 3+ years of structural design experience in the 2/3-wheel electric vehicle industry. Familiar with vehicle structural principles and manufacturing processes (welding, injection molding, etc.). Candidates with full NPI (New Product Introduction) experience from design to mass production are preferred.
4. Software & Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD and SolidWorks for independent 3D modeling and engineering drafting. Proficiency in simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is a major plus. Demonstrated ability to independently lead small-to-medium structural design projects.
5. Cost Awareness & Problem-Solving: Strong cost-consciousness, capable of controlling costs through material selection and structural simplification during early design stages. Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly respond to structural demands from production and market ends.
